County Commissioners need to respect voters' vote, with a Republican Clerk of District Court Appointment.

(Lincoln, NE) - We want to thank Troy Hawk, a Republican and attorney for his wonderful and faithful support to the people of Lancaster County and the courts over the last 14 years. We appreciate his service and believe his great work should continue, as voters of Lancaster County clearly do highlighted by the last elections.

Just over a year ago, the people of Lancaster County selected a Republican to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of Clerk of District Court for them in the election and Troy Hawk has done a fantastic job, and we wish him well in future endeavors. A Republican should be appointed to continue this work by the County Commissioners, thus respecting the will of the people.

The courts are no place of activism or extreme leftist ideology. The role of Clerk is to ensure the courts run smoothly and efficiently under the rule of law. There is no place for the growing rise of leftist activism in our courts, which is gripping Lancaster County. Clearly the people of Lancaster County believe in a Republican Clerk and have spoken with their vote!
