Deb Fischer
A lifelong Nebraskan, Deb Fischer knows about hard work, strong communities, and the Nebraska way of life. Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, Deb attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a B.S. in Education. Deb and her husband Bruce have been married for over 39 years and own a ranching business near Valentine. On the ranch, they raised their three sons, all of whom have returned to live and work on the family ranch.
Don Stenberg
Don Stenberg is a native Nebraskan who grew up in Tekamah, Nebraska. His parents owned and operated a small business out of their home. As Nebraska’s Attorney General from 1991 to 2003, Don led the fight for tough anti-crime legislation to protect Nebraska families. He fought in court to protect Nebraska’s irrigation water. And he personally argued in favor of Nebraska’s ban on partial birth abortion in the Supreme Court of the United States. Don effectively and efficiently operated Nebraska’s Attorney General’s Office on the third smallest budget in the United States. Don was elected Nebraska State Treasurer in 2010 with 73 percent of the vote. He holds an MBA and Law Degree from Harvard University.
Jon Bruning
Elected as Nebraska’s 31st Attorney General in 2002, Jon Bruning has dedicated his career to defending the defining principles of the United States Constitution. Re-elected without opposition in 2006 and 2010, he continues to push against federal expansion by leading multi-state legal challenges of unconstitutional congressional actions and federal agency regulations.
Pat Flynn
Pat Flynn was born and raised in a small town in rural Nebraska. He is from a family of seven. In 1982 he started an insurance business and later became an Investment Adviser. He ran this very successful business for 29 years. In early 2011, Pat went full-time in his pursuit of United States Senate, believing that America needs true leadership from the people, rather than career politicians.
Spencer Zimmerman
After graduating from high school in 1998, Spencer enlisted in the Air Force for four years and was stationed at Offutt. On duty during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Zimmerman received the Joint Service Achievement Medal for meritorious service. After an honorable discharge Spencer obtained a B.S. in Business Administration.
